Spring Distilled Water

The market seems to have an endless amount of choices when it comes to bottled water. You can often find a range of different waters from which to choose. It can be difficult to decide what water may actually be the best choice. Do you even know the difference in the types of water offered? Most people do not. Here is a look at two water types – spring and distilled water.

Spring Water

Spring water comes from a spring and that is where it gets its name. It is a type of mineral water and may contain minerals in varying amounts. It usually has a very nice taste and is often used as drinking water.

Spring water is produced from natural aquifers that are in rock beds or soil and it comes naturally to the surface as a spring. All spring water is naturally rich in trace minerals and if it has been through some sort of purification it must still contain those trace minerals to be labeled as spring water.

Most dietary experts consider spring water to be the best drinking water choice. It is also very easy to find on the market.

Distilled Water

Distilled water is a form of purified water. It has had all minerals and other matter removed completely. It is 100% pure water. It is the cleanest water choice and contains nothing that can be harmful.

Water is distilled through a process that involves heating the water to create stem and collecting the steam into condensed form. It has no smell or taste.

Most people will not prefer to drink distilled water at first. It can be an acquired taste because it is a bit flat in that it has no real taste.

Distilled water is used in many ways, though. It is a perfect option when the minerals or other matter in other water would pose a harm or cause an issue.

Choosing Between the Two Waters

The type of water you choose is really based upon your preferences and what you will use the water for. If you do not mind the flat taste then you may like to drink distilled water, but most people would opt to use spring water as drinking water. On the other hand, for your use in an iron you may prefer distilled water because there will be no risk of staining to your clothes sine it is a pure water.
